Launch Guide

Overview

The Launch Guide is the recommended path to make your first agent useful: create the agent, add knowledge, tune the agent, build a Workflow, then connect a channel. Complete the milestones in order so each step has the context the next one needs.

Create your first agent

  1. From the workspace, choose Create agent.
  2. Select a template or start blank, and give it a clear internal name.
  3. After creation, KiloBot opens the agent workspace. Use the workspace switcher whenever you need another agent.

Add knowledge

Open Knowledge Base and add current product, policy, hours, and escalation facts. Prefer one focused website, file, text note, or Q&A entry over conflicting sources.

  1. Open Knowledge Base.
  2. Add the facts your agent should answer from first.
  3. Keep sources focused so answers stay consistent.

Test the agent

Review the prompt, model, and style controls in Agent Setup, then test with realistic customer messages — including a question knowledge cannot answer. Choose Publish only when behavior matches your intent.

  1. Open Agent Setup.
  2. Review the prompt, model, and style controls.
  3. Choose Test agent with realistic messages.
  4. Choose Publish when the behavior is ready.

Create the workflow

Open Workflow and start from a template or add actions to Message enters. Name conditions clearly, add only the first-release actions, then Save. If the agent should book appointments, create Services and Availability first.

  1. Open Workflow.
  2. Start from a template or add actions to Message enters.
  3. Name conditions clearly, keep the first release small, then Save.

Connect a channel

Connect Website, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger from Channels, wait until the channel shows as connected, then send a real customer-side test message and confirm it appears in Inbox.

  1. Open Channels and connect a channel.
  2. Wait until the channel shows as connected.
  3. Send a real customer-side test message.
  4. Confirm it appears in Inbox.

Before you invite the team

Test common questions, escalation, booking, and an unknown request. Then configure roles, lead assignment, availability, and Inbox habits for the teammates who will operate conversations.
