Channels
Overview
Channels connect customers to an agent on Website, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger. A successful connection means new customer messages appear in Inbox for that agent. Available channel count depends on the workspace plan.
Supported channels
KiloBot supports:
- Website through the KiloBot web widget
- WhatsApp through Meta's connection flow
- Instagram for connected professional messaging
- Messenger for connected Facebook Page messaging
The number of channels available depends on the workspace plan.
Add a channel
The connected channel card shows its identity and connection state. A WhatsApp connection can move through signup, token, connection, and initial synchronization stages before it is ready. If mobile coexistence is used, follow the in-product coexistence guide and allow contact and history synchronization to finish.
- Open Channels for the agent.
- Choose Connect another channel.
- Select a platform and complete the provider or widget setup.
- Do not close an external authorization flow until it reports completion.
