Services

Overview

Services define the appointments KiloBot can offer. A Service combines the customer-facing description, timing rules, booking fields, sales style, and teammate assignment strategy used by the Book appointment Workflow action. Pair Services with Availability and review outcomes in Calendar.

Create a Service

  1. Open Services and choose Add a service.
  2. Complete Details — enter the Service name, description, and active state.
  3. Complete Timing — set appointment duration, buffer, timezone, and optional preferred times.
  4. Complete Data collection — choose the fields KiloBot collects during booking.
  5. Complete Assignment — choose the sales style and teammate assignment strategy.
  6. Save the Service.

Default booking fields include Booking Date, Booking Time, Customer Name, and Phone Number. You can add text, number, select, yes/no, date, time, and phone fields. Keep the form short enough for a customer to finish in conversation.

Choose an assignment strategy

Assignment decides which teammate receives a booked appointment. Availability is still required — an assignment strategy does not make an unavailable teammate bookable.

  • Conversation owner first prefers the teammate already responsible for the conversation.
  • Balanced distributes bookings based on available workload.
  • Round robin rotates assignment through eligible teammates.
  • Specific teammate sends the Service to one selected person.

Activate and connect the Service

Before customers can book, the Service must be active, connected to a Book appointment action, and backed by usable teammate availability.

  1. Confirm the Service is active.
  2. Open Workflow, select a Book appointment node, and choose which Services that action may use.
  3. Open Agent Setup and test a complete booking.

Review bookings

The Services page lists your Services and booked appointments, including customer, assignee, appointment time, status, booking ID, and creation time. You can also manage the appointment from Calendar.

note

An active Service without Availability cannot produce a usable slot — see Availability.
