Follow-ups
Overview
Follow-ups re-engage eligible customers after they have not replied. Configure them from the Follow-ups view in Workflow. A customer reply prevents later no-reply attempts from continuing. Use Follow-ups for silence-based outreach; use Reminders for appointment-time messages.
Choose the activation scope
Use Future only when you want a clean launch boundary. Use Current & future only after reviewing the audience and message carefully. Reminder scope works the same way — see Reminders.
- Open Workflow and switch to Follow-ups.
- Choose Current & future to schedule follow-ups still due for eligible existing conversations and after new messages, or Future only to schedule follow-ups after new eligible messages while the automation is on.
Define the audience
Review audience filters that control which leads may enter the follow-up sequence. Check lead temperature and other available filters before activation.
Configure timing and attempts
When there is more than one attempt, choose how often to reattempt. A one-attempt sequence does not need an interval.
- Choose Start after to define how long KiloBot waits without a customer reply.
- Select a preset or a custom positive whole duration in minutes, hours, days, or weeks.
- Set the maximum number of attempts.

Select messages
Pending selections are saved only after you Confirm the dialog.
- For one attempt, select one approved WhatsApp template.
- For multiple attempts, choose whether every attempt uses the same template or different templates.
- Confirm the dialog to save pending selections.
Activate and monitor
Keep copy useful and spaced appropriately. Test a high-attempt sequence with a controlled group before broad activation.
- Review the Summary.
- Turn Follow-ups on.
- Open History to review scheduling and send results with estimated Meta cost when the template category can be priced.
Follow-ups require approved WhatsApp Message Templates. Provider charges are separate from KiloBot credits — see Usage and billing.
